What’s best described as a mashup between dessert and a cocktail, this creamy drink is decadent and replete with notes of coffee. In addition to this and as a way to elevate flavours of the Irish coffee liqueur, adding dark chocolate offers great contrast to the sweet elements, thus balancing flavour.
Mix together the espresso with mascarpone.
Add in the Baileys or any coffee liqueur and vanilla syrup to stir.
Add ice and stir again to chill the mixture.
Strain and serve in a martini cocktail glass.
